Why I use Dr. Bronner's products EVERY DAY!

Why I Love Dr. Bronner’s (and Use It for Nearly Everything)

Dr. Bronner’s isn’t just a soap company—it’s a movement wrapped in a bottle. From the moment I saw how it cut through bacon grease with just one single drop, I was hooked. But what keeps me loyal isn’t just how well it works—it’s what the company stands for.

🌎 A Family Company with a Bigger Mission

The Bronner story begins with Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation master soapmaker from a Jewish family in Germany who fled to the U.S. in the late 1920s to escape persecution. His passion wasn’t just making good soap—it was spreading a message of peace, unity, and care for one another.

Today, the company is still family-owned and operated by his descendants, who continue his mission in bold and radical ways. Dr. Bronner’s supports groundbreaking work in drug policy reform, regenerative organic agriculture, and fair trade practices across the globe. They’ve been outspoken in supporting the legalization of marijuana and psilocybin-assisted therapy, using their platform and profits to push for positive, progressive change.

💜 How They Treat People Matters

One of the reasons I love supporting this brand is because they genuinely care about their employees. We’re talking about:

  • Free healthcare

  • Company-paid child care

  • Annual bonuses

  • Executive pay caps (no one makes more than 5x the lowest-paid employee)

It’s rare to find a company with ethics this rooted in real action—not just marketing.

Why I Use It Everywhere (Seriously)

If you haven’t used Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid Soap, let me tell you—it earns its place in the cabinet. I use the Lavender scent for everything but we also enjoy the Citrus, Rose, Unscented and the Sal Suds Fir & Spruce:

  • Laundry detergent

  • Dishwashing

  • Solid Body Bars

  • Mopping the floors

  • Bathroom cleaning

  • Even cleaning stubborn, greasy pans (like that time I dropped one single drop in a bacon-grease-soaked skillet and watched the grease break down instantly—life-changing!)

It's concentrated, so a little goes a long way, and it makes cleaning feel a little less like a chore. It smells amazing, works hard, and leaves no weird residue—just peace of mind.

Life Hack: Keep a bar of eucalyptus soap on hand during cold and flu season! Its natural aromatherapy helps open up airways and improve respiratory comfort. I love using it in a hot shower when feeling congested, and I always keep a bar by the bedside for anyone under the weather—easy, soothing relief just a sniff away.

Note: Peppermint soap smells absolutely amazing and feels invigorating, but it can be quite intense on sensitive areas—especially around the genitals. I recommend avoiding use there to keep things comfortable for you.

✨ Final Word

Dr. Bronner’s is more than just soap. It’s a company that puts planet, people, and principles before profit. And for that (plus the fact that I now use one product for ten different chores), I’m a forever fan.
